ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is both a dynamic and surprisingly gentle medicine which can accomplish deep and lasting beneficial results for patients.
Through the insertion of hair-fine needles in specific points on the body, acupuncture promotes the body's innate ability to heal itself and helps restore normal function and balance to the mind, body and spirit.
With thousands of years of practice and countless research trials proving its efficacy, acupuncture is a must addition to wellness routines
CUPPING
Cupping, also known as myofascial decompression, is a very effective form of bodywork therapy in which special cups are attached to the skin. The suction effect then created within the cup produces a lifting effect on the structures underneath the skin, generating a multitude of beneficial physiological effects . Cupping works to increase blood circulation, alleviate pain and tightness, (especially muscle tension), revitalise connective tissue and soothe the nervous system.
In a nutshell, cupping creates a better blood flow, which means more efficient cell repair and formation. Basically, cupping helps you heal faster and better.
MOXIBUSTION
Originated in China over 2,500 years ago, moxibustion or moxa therapy is a form of heat therapy, which consists in warming specific acupuncture points or parts of the channels pathways along which Qi and Blood flow all through the body, through the burning of medicinal herbs in order to warm the body and help heal a variety of health concerns, including arthritis ( of the knee and hip for instance), digestive disorders and gynaecological conditions.
GUA SHA
Gua Sha is another little-known but powerful bodywork therapy which consists in a gentle and sustained stroking of the skin with a round-edged tool in order to promote healing of the structures ( fascia, muscles...) underneath.
Gua Sha can be used in many clinical situations and anywhere on the body to help with pain, but is most often used on the back and neck to treat muscular tightness and pain.
Recent clinical research has contributed to shedding more light on the physiology of Gua Sha, thus contributing to its growing popularity and relevance in the modern acupuncture clinic.
